Last Hope in The Dark

We were running down the hill. I was running with… I don’t know who, but it was two other girls. One a little older and one younger by maybe a few months.

I looked back stupidly, and guess what I saw shadowy black figures chasing after us. Why? I had no idea. But I was scared out of my mind and I didn’t want to be caught again.

I flashed back, I was caught (putting up a fight of course), these things where strong. And I didn’t know how to fight them off. I was guessing the other two girls didn’t either. I was put in a van and I really don’t know where we were going but it was far, I knew that much. I was stuck in the van for maybe two days. The older girl was in the van with me on the second day, I didn’t see the younger girl till we go to this warehouse type thing.

We were left alone for only five minutes at a time. Even then I was scared to talk. But the other two girls talked a lot. Mainly on plans to escape and who I was. I wouldn’t talk. I was too scared. Alone. Tied up in a place I had no idea where.

Next thing I knew I was back to running for my life with these two girls I barely knew. I trusted them enough though to help me get away.

I was at home alone, like usual on a Saturday. My dad and step mom were out with my baby sisters. Like usual I was sitting in front of the TV with a soda and my laptop.

I was talking on chat with my best friend Aleera. We were on a video chat; we were talking while watching the same show. The shoe ended around 10-o’clock, and my family wasn’t home still. That was a good thing to me.

I said goodnight to Aleera and logged of the chat and went to the kitchen to get another soda. And that’s when the power went out. It wasn’t unusual for me. It happened a lot while I was home alone. I didn’t know why. It was only when I was home alone. Weird, huh?

I went back into the living room where my laptop was. I lit some candles and sat down on the couch. “Well… nothing to do now…” I mumbled to myself. I curled up.

I must have fallen asleep, when I woke up it was midnight. No one was home still. So they must be out at the movies. I sat up, still no power. “Lovely…” I said to myself.

I was walking to the kitchen when there was an explosion. I heard a scream. Crap… I must have screamed. I thought to myself. I looked around. The front windows were broken. “Well… snap…” I mumbled. I looked around more. No one was in the house, I thought.

I spun around, hearing something. I saw nothing but black. I shrugged and went to get the phone so I could call 911. As I reached for the phone someone, or something, hit me. I fell forward onto the floor. My hair wild fell over my eyes. I rolled over pushing my hair out of my eyes with my hand, and there were two shadow figures over me.

I screamed, again, and shot up getting on my balance. “Who are you…?” I asked quietly. Sadly, they didn’t answer. They just started attacking me. I had no idea how the hell to fight shadows to I just kicked and punched.

Why they were attacking? No Dang idea. But next thing I knew I was on the ground, and then tied up, then shoved into a van. Who the hell knew that shadow people could drive, because I surely had no Dang idea they could.

But now I was tied up, my house destroyed (I’m going to get grounded for that…), and kidnapped. What a lovely way to spend my weekend.
